Three sentence movie reviews: Beyond the Lights

Overlooked movie alert!*  There’s really good stuff in here, from mother/daughter relationships to fame, and how women are often required to sell their bodies to achieve it.    Great performances all around.

Cost: free from library
Where watched: at home

The above poster was the only one the site had.  However, the poster below was on the front of my DVD and it’s a million times better.

  1. It is so fun to discover a bit of a hidden gem. I will definitely see if this is available on our various movie subscription sites. We have greatly diminished our movie watching now that I am so busy with school, but I will try to get it in teh queue.

  2. It’s on Netflix – I added it to my list! Of course, there’s stuff that’s been on my list for like five years, so who knows when I’ll get to it.
