Sara modified a generic statement into a YAY statement for me.
She also reports that she sent a batch of postcards to her new students and hopes I am enjoying our new day in DC and in the US. (The postcard was written on 1/21.)
Sara sends me greetings as I wrap up two jobs and start another.
Not pictured here because I just noticed it, is the place for the stamp. Sara has cleverly placed the official stamp to the left of the usual place for the stamp so I can see that artist included another woodcut that says “The days are long, but the years are short” Very fun! And a good way for me to show off fun stamp areas that I come across.
Sara writes from their new afternoon spot at Septentrio Winery. Because they can sit outdoors, they’ve taken to getting a bottle of wine after going to the farmer’s market.
Sara points out that the store Just My Type has moved around the corner and said she put a star on their old location. But I wonder if the star didn’t make it through the mail?
Another also-ran of the encouragement postcards Sara purchased for her students. It seemed a bit much for The Times We Live In, so I got it instead of her students.
Sara reports that she has finished her paid summer obligation and is now excited to have a break. It’s not been a great summer for Summer Sara, yet.
