This is from Daisy who sends her greetings form Taiwan. She tells me that the most important festival of the year, Chinese New Year, is coming soon. She said she would celebrate it with a family reunion and some food.

I love that Daisy shared her New Year plans. I like the idea that poss-crossers share a little glimpse of who they are with each card winging its way around the world.
My profile suggests they tell me three things about themselves. I stole this from a postcrosser’s suggestion early on, although their suggestion was five things. I found it hard to fit five things on my card.

Is that Thailand on the postcard? I had no idea that anywhere in Thailand looked like that. I really like it.
The back of the postcard says “Qinbi Village, Beigan, Matsu”

says that it’s known as a Mediterranean town on the Taiwan Straits. You are looking at the best-preserved eastern Fujian-style buildings in all of Matsu.
Interesting. Good question!
