We run out of tape. I go to Fred Meyer, the place where I probably spend 80% of funds. Because they have everything. But you know what they don’t have? Tape dispensers. So, being out of tape, and needing tape, I once again purchase those plastic not-reusable clear tape dispensers.
Repeat. For nine years.
But I have finally purchased tape dispensers! One for me, one for Matt and one for the common area.
Free at last!
I take it you use tape a lot? What do you use it for? I think we’ve had the same “dispensable” roll of tape for at least five years, haha.
I don’t think of our tape use as excessive, but tape certainly doesn’t last 5 years. I know we use it for wrapping presents, putting the Christmas Cards on the wall, and I usually find myself using it to secure letters that are perhaps too big for their envelopes. Matt has a whole thing where he prints out cards for a game he likes and that seems to take tape also.
I think what mostly bugged me was repeating the waste cycle every time. So that made it more present in my mind.
