Sara writes that she got this postcard in Yachats at the gift shop with 25-cent postcards. She got this one and 14 others.
This postcard also commemorates Shawn’s grandmother’s internment, which Shawn planned using his excellent order-of-service skills. Sara found the service very moving.
Sara and Shawn headed to Astoria after Portland, and Sara had a lot of good things to say about the town.
In this postcard, she reports that they did the column (you can see it in this postcard, a bit larger in scale than it really is) and poked around the shops.

She notes that the postcard had a printing error, and indeed the lines for the address are on the wrong side.
While we visited the Bliss House, Sara grabbed this informational postcard, which she then gussied up and put in a multifamily mailbox down the street from us along with a birthday card for her sister.
However, that building isn’t yet occupied and when I checked, the lock hadn’t been installed in the outgoing mail slot. I assumed that the mail carrier wasn’t regularly picking up the mail.
So I grabbed both letter and postcard and put then in the mail on the way to my job club. I did not read the postcard before I sent it.
Once it was delivered, I read that Sara thanked me for hosting such a good visit.
Cousin Ron sent this from what looks like a lovely place to visit in Ohio.
Sara’s family took a trip to Glacier, where they ate lunch at this lodge.
She reports that her uncle and sister biked the Going-to-the-Sun Road, and that they family took a loop walk.

Sara reports that she is back home and happy to be there, though frustrated with the campus closing due to protests. Her graduating class was mostly made up of the group that had their senior year hijacked by Covid, so they were having flashbacks.

Sara reports that it’s been busy and, among other things, she and Shawn took in a matinee showing of a very fun, over-the-top Twelfth Night.
Sara writes from Coeur d’Alene that the quote listed on the postcard is a bit more terrifying these days and she’s a little eh about it. Same.
She reports that she was headed toward a queer-owned coffee shop in Post Falls.
