I was surprised to see this garish fabric peeking out from behind the purple pleather of the Max train Type 2 car. Was this the original fabric? Cursory Google Image searching did not turn up any evidence. 
Looks like someone is heading to the water for some Memorial Day fun.

I have this vague recollection of the Trimet seats having some pretty garish seat covers over the years. I wonder if one were to rip a hole in the second layer (note: not advocating vandalism) if there would be another layer of fabric underneath? Maybe one day, all the seats will be 6 inches thick from all the layers.
Its like tree rings for Trimet seats!
