Sure, Lilacs look pretty, but really it’s all about the scent. Which cannot be reproduced here.
Lilacs in bloom is one of my favorite things about spring.

Such a shame…I love their smell, too. Hey, at Fred Meyer (when we were in Boise), we found a soy candle that has a pretty good version of Lilac. You might want to check it out: Stella Mare (looked online but they don’t have a website and I don’t want to link to ebay. The candles are lovely. Give it a try! I even saved the box so I can send my mom to get me some when our wonder runs out! -S
Actually, I’m pretty well known these days for hating candles. So a lilac candle will not quite do it for me. I’ll just have to wait until next spring.
