Matt waves from outside our escape room. This is my second escape room, and Matt’s fifth (?)
The rules. “Every rule has a story behind it,” said our guide. In this escape room, the employee sat in the room with us (my previous experience we were observed from outside the room) and he made a point of saying, “There is nothing in my pockets.” Poor guy.
As you might guess by this photo, our room was American Revolution themed. Here is our time. We escaped. In other news, apparently, I didn’t get the memo on the female pose.
Fun. I just went through my first escape room on a work team outing. We were split into two rooms, both teams escaped. They were sticklers about the release forms, too. Though we did start out in handcuffs in the dark so I see the point.
Apparently the other room at our location had you start in handcuffs in the dark. I’m glad we didn’t do that one. Good job escaping!
This looks fun! I have only tried escape rooms twice. I “died” on both times. This does not bode well for me when the eventual zombie apocalypse is here.
Oh dear. Maybe you need to surround yourself with a smarter crew? 🙂
Oh goodness, I think I’d have to pass on starting out in handcuffs in the dark. I didn’t even know they went that far with escape rooms!
“Do not manipulate items with your mouth”? People never cease to amaze me. So gross.
I also see no need to begin in bondage. 🙂
I have wanted to do an escape room. Alas, I have no crew with which to do this and for some reason, I do not believe the mental fortitude of a five year old is gonna help me solve puzzles quickly…
Yeah, you might want to wait a few years…
