Possibly the best movie about being a teenage boy since Kings of Summer. It’s funny, it’s moving, it’s set in present day and has a 90s hip hop soundtrack. Eventually, they will start making movies about girls coming of age, but in the meantime, sit down and enjoy this fabulous piece of movie.
Cost: $5.00
Where watched: Regal City Center Stadium 12 with Matt*
*Sweetheart, what are you doing Sunday at 6? I have a movie I think we will both enjoy.
And we did.

I really want to see this. If not just for the soundtrack alone. I know that I would rather enjoy the music if I don’t care for the movie!!!
This looks so fun! I’ll have to add it to my list. Side note: back in June, I was in Carson to go to the Timbers game and got there early (left very early because I knew traffic would be a pain) so I found a random Starbucks near the stadium to write for a while. I’m half convinced that I saw Forest Whitaker there. It most likely wasn’t him, but holy cow, was he the spitting image. We smiled and nodded at each other. Your post reminded me of this incident, which I’d forgotten.
